Pastor reveals how a wife laced husband's food with Tramadol so she could be with her lover

The Tramadol drug apparently is not only abused by ‘boys boys’ who take it to feel high or for their various chilling and or sexual escapades.

Some women also are using it on their husbands to pursue their ‘schemes’ on the blind side of the other.

The call on regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to properly regulate the use of Tramadol and other drugs in the country has heightened with the alarming spate of abuse by various categories of persons particularly within the youth nationwide.

Some individuals have confessed to using the drug to enhance their sexual performance and give them the energy to undertake tedious jobs for hours without feeling tired.

In this instance, however, a woman chose to ‘drug’ her husband with the tablets by putting doses in his food and tea on a daily basis so she could go on her sexual escapades with her neighbor.

The report sent to relationship expert and counselor on Facebook, Abena Magis by an anonymous pastor has become the talk this morning on social media.

The pastor explained that the couple who have been married for 3 years now normally see him for counselling when they have issues in their marriage.

He described how the drug made the husband sleep for several hours while she cheated with her lover.

"His wife was seeing a man in their neighborhood and so will put Tramol in the food she cooks for him, make him sleep so that she can go and spend the night with him and come back. On the day he didn't want to eat, she will put it in his tea. She had been doing this for months and it was now affecting him so much. As at now, the man is still in the hospital because of the effects", he narrated.

The devilish act according to the pastor was done for 3 months

He continued that the woman has been arrested by the police to aid with the investigations.

Dear Abena,

God bless you for your works and may He elevate you above your peers. I've been following you for years and you've done an awesome job. I have been reading your views on Tramol abuse and want to use your platform to reach out to people. For them to know that it is a canker which has entered our homes. I know and trust that my identity is safe with you because I'm a pastor and I was told something in confidence but I cannot keep it to myself when lives could be at stake. I will plead with your audience to share this all over till married couples open their eyes.

I counseled a lady and gentleman and officiated their wedding. The lady was from a different church and joined after their wedding. Over the 3 years of marriage, I've counseled them on several issues but the recent ones are so serious which is why I'm coming to you.

The gentleman had been behaving strangely in church of late. He'll come and someone who is a treasurer could sometimes doze while counting money with his colleagues. He would come to my office and his favorite statement was "pastor, ?nd? mabr?." Always said that. I honestly thought he was stressed because of his job not knowing it was worse.

This issue is a police case so they'll deal with the woman but it is a wake up a call to your audience. They should not joke with the awareness. Your spouse can get you addicted without knowing just because they want to cheat on you.

The second one is that, a man had been mixing Tramol with Rush Energy drink. He sometimes bought Rush without mixing and shared it between 3 of his boys.

The elder one was sick one day so didn't go to school. He went to the hall and his father was asleep. Half full bottle of rush by his side. The boy took the bottle and took it to his room. The little he drank got him drunk. His brothers too came home from school and drank it.

Their mother came back and the boys were drunk on the floor. They couldn't move. It is so serious that she is seeking for a divorce from the husband. I would not have encouraged it and it's against what Christianity is but we have had to tell him that if he doesn't stop this addiction, we as a church will support her decision to divorce him. We will not sit down for him to mess up his family because of this.

We must wake up as a nation. It is time.
