An article with the Headline "NPP MP aspirant slaps party activist in front of police officers," has been brought to the attention of the Office of Hon. Alex Martey, Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party in Ningo-Prampram Constituency, wishes to state in unequivocal terms that there is no iota of truth in the claim that he has slapped or assaulted anyone talk less of an activist of the party in the constituency he seeks to lead . He has never considered, contemplated, or engaged in any such act.

The office of Hon. Alex Martey rather lodged a complain of theft at the prampram police station against the said party activist who is been sought after by the police, and for the matter of public record there is no case of assault against the honorable man at any police station.

This is a sad example of bad press by elements who are bent on falsification and spreading of negative news that we must endeavor to eradicate from our public/political discourse .

We cannot have journalists putting up stories without cross checking and without credible basis . We also believe that this is part of the mischief intended to discredit our able Parliamentary Candidate as it emerges that his only focus is to work hard with officers and party members to wrestle the Ningo-Prampram seat from the incompetence of the NDC in 2020.

Hon. Alex Martey and his team are fervently preparing to lunch the Campaign for 2020.

Alex Martey’s mission is to Rescue Ningo Prampram from the shackles of deprivation and offer himself selflessly to the people of Ningo-Prampram.

He has repeatedly declared that his focus is solely on winning the constituency for the New Patriotic Party in both Parliamentary and Presidential come 2020.

Office of Hon. Alexander Martey, Parliamentary Candidate Ningo-Prampram.
