Dr. Sekou Nkrumah, son of Ghana's first President and Founder, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, has expressed his discontent over President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's decision to rename Flagstaff House to Jubilee house.
It appears that the continuing pettiness within Ghanaian politics has also vexed one of the children of Ghana's Founder.
In a post shared on his Facebook page, Sekou Nkrumah says that - contrary to what government has stated - it is rather the Jubilee House that sits in the premises of the Flagstaff House.
Since the announcement on Thursday that the Flagstaff House would be renamed back to Jubilee House, many Ghanaians have expressed either their disagreement, or agreement with the decision.
On the other hand, most Ghanaians have expressed that names changes are not what they're looking for, but rather jobs and better public services.
