Former Techiman North MP, Professor Christopher Ameyaw-Ekumfi, has asked Ghanaians to vote in favour of the creation of the Bono East Region.
The Board Chairman of the Ghana Infrastructural Investment Fund (GIIF) noted that the creation of the region will bring development to the area.
In an artwork calling on the people to vote in favour of the creation during the referendum slated for Thursday, 27 December, Prof Ameyaw-Akumfi said: “We have all the resources needed for development but we are still a needy people. We have the arable lands for agriculture, commerce and trade boom in the proposed Bono East Region.
“We have tourist sites, let’s come together to change our destiny by supporting the creation of the Bono East Region.”
