Voting for abysmal NDC, NPP illogical – Greenstreet
Flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Greenstreet, says there is no logic in continually voting for the NPP and the NDC, since in his view, they have performed abysmally over the years.
He warned that the gap between the rich and the poor, will widen if Ghanaians continue to hand over power to either of the two parties come November 7.
According to him, the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), have performed terribly since 1992.
Ivor Greenstreet, who made these remarks at the Youth Leadership Parliament inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, said it would be illogical for Ghanaians to continually vote for the two parties.
He thus appealed to Ghanaians to desist from voting for the two parties, since in his view, they have failed in their attempt to govern the country. “You should all logically draw the conclusion that those who happen to have ruled you since 1992 have all been abysmal failures; and therefore if they have been abysmal failures, there is no point repeating them because nobody repeats failures.
There’s absolutely no logic in why NDC should be returned to power and definitely no logical reason why you would want to bring back the failed NPP,” he added.
The CPP Presidential Candidate urged Ghanaians to discard any thoughts of voting for the NPP or NDC if they genuinely desire a better future for the country.
“…So neither of these two parties should represent any iota of determination when you make your logical mental decision making process unless you want to continue ensuring that there is this widening gap between the rich and the poor,” he argued.
