The executives of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region has dismissed media reports that its administrator, Dr Orlando Kwafo has been fired due to an exposé by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The party in a statement stated that it is the constituency Secretary who is the Chief Administrator of the party and no appointment letter has been given to an individual as an administrator of the party at Ellembelle Constituency.
The statement of the party was in a reaction to a story published by Daily Guide which suggests that Dr Orlando Kwafo, who is in charge of activities at the party office at Aiyinasi has been allowing NPP communicators to use the local FM station of the party to criticize the Member of Parliament for the area Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah.
The story stated that the said incidence happened on Sunday, March 17, 2019, where the dismissed officer is alleged to have called one of the communicator's of NPP to the party’s office to use their local FM to talk about politics.
According to Daily Guide, the NPP Communicator, known as Mankind Ellembelle was exposing Mr Kofi-Buah for doing nothing for the constituency.
“Mankind was criticizing Armah Kofi-Buah on NDC local FM and eventually, some NDC members in the community stormed there to drag Mankind from the office,” the source said
But the party in their statement noted: “the Ellembelle Constituency office is not operating any form of commercial activity with an installed local FM at the party's office which sort to invite ordinarily any ill-minded persons for any transaction.”

The attention of the Ellembelle Constituency [NDC] has been drawn to a media publication circulating with impunity with the caption" Ellembelle NDC sacks Administration"
The party wishes to inform the general public that;
1. The party office at the constituency level has not employed or engaged anybody as an Administrator of the party. Apparently, it is the constituency Secretary who is the Chief Administrator of the party hence no appointment letter has been issued to an individual as an administrator of the party at Ellembelle Constituency.
2. The Ellembelle Constituency office is not operating any form of commercial activity with an installed local FM at the party's office which sort to invite ordinarily any ill-minded persons for any transaction.
3. The party office at Aiyinase was not opened today,16th March 2019. In fact, the constituency Secretary and Deputy, a member of the Election Directorate and myself have just a while ago visited the office and there's no attempt by any persons which subscribe to the fact that the doors and locks have been tampered with and all equipment and materials are positioned at their designed place and intact.
It has come to our notice that two unscrupulous individuals who have no locus and focus, in their quest to become famous are spewing lies across various social media platforms.
We will like to sound a strong warning to those rascals to abstain from intruding the NDC party office for we will sack them with absolute force when seen.
The general public especially the NDC members are assured of the measures with which the party has taken to keep and maintain the office in pursuits of party faithful.
