GHANAIANS BREAK MY HEART.
I am not only broken hearted or ashamed but am scared for the very first time in my life. Considering how our greed and personal interests can put the lives of innocent citizens in danger while we care less about it. How on earth will Ghanaians sit and watch their government take such a drastic decision which is putting the lives of over 20 million citizens in danger? The people break my heart, they have disappointed me and even scared me for the very first time in my life.
When asked why the people should be blamed; He said '' Oh yes they voted for this government, and I know of the many futile exercises they have embarked on against the government especially since the mysterious demise of my very good friend, Late Professor John Mills but this one is a different case and must be treated differently by the entire citizenry regardless of their political affiliation as this act put every one there in that country into danger.
Look I know Ghana very well, I have been a teacher there and I even met my first wife there. Not alone but I have seen the place like my second home and have had personal relationship with their presidents in the past.
Am not sure any of the ex presidents would do same. Even Nkrumah would not. Ghanaians wake up. Mr. Mugabe then said; I TOLD YOU GHANA HAS A PRESIDENT WHO IS A DISGRACE TO AFRICA. Now he is being obedient to America for another favor in their next elections and I think it's time the opposition leaders get serious and vigilant to make their so called democracy one to write about.

Indiscreet and insensitive statements like this by a person who has been appointed to head the EC by a govt whose stay in power was largely determined by either the dishonesty or incompetence of Afari-Gyan, now confirms to all of us that the woman is not impartial.
So far everything that has come out of her mouth over the past few days, shows that she has been put into that position to do a hatchet job for the NDC.
At the very least, even if she is not partisan, this woman is not mature enough to hold such a sensitive public position. She should know that the subject of Afari-Djan raise strong emotions in the public domain and for her to overlook those concerns and to go ahead and publicly praise him simply means that she is either looking for trouble or she is not sensible enough to know what she is doing or where she is at.
I do not hold any political sympathies for the NPP but looking at current developments, I have a deep worry about the future of the country.

Truthly Ghana is not Mahama and Mahama is not Ghana. We are not interested in his compassion and when he tells Ghanaians not to be phobic and hysterical about this decisions, it gives me the impression that he is arrogant and alienated in this role.
He should have put the outcome of his assessment with GIGS and ACSC to Parliament before a vote was taken on the matter. That way transparancy would have been guarantteed and personal compassion would be out of the equation.Rather the President set aside the public Interest and Parliamentary Sovereignty. If in doubt of the inherent consequences of having an association with IS or Talaban or Al Quaeda, see what happened today in Jakarta (Indonesia). On reflection , this request was made when OBAMA visited Ghana but the request was kept secret until now. This may be Mahama and NDC's Waterloo in 2016 elections. The minister, Hanna Tetteh, is still pouring kerosine on to the fire by saying that these convicts can roam about in our shopping Malls under surveillance without explaining what type of surveillance is in place -obstrusive or un-obstrusive. Remember that it takes a lot of courage and foresight for the Christian Council of Ghana to opine that this decision is a bitter pill for Ghanaians to swallow.Well, we all wish and pray that nothing happens in the next 4 years

In Ghana, they can be better monitor for the simple reason that they standout where ever they are and a,lso in what they do. are they threat to our own security? I doubt that. Can they form new cells with like minded people? I dont think so as that could be easily inferred from their movement. I also believe that the US is going to use their Intelligence Systems in place in ghana to monitor those folks. Our Politicians are just opportunist that would only throw dust in our eyes and run the other way to go and enjoy their loot. Who say an NPP government would have taken a different decision? Sheikh Mustapha Abdul Hamid is rather naive in his assertions and pronouncements. Is he really a special adviser to Nana Akuffo Addo? What a shame!
