Why is it that common sense does not factor in the equation and they rejoice at the reception of these terrorists . They add insult to injury and claim we are xenophobic but refuse to recognize the fact that we would react in the same way when the USA chooses to start exporting their other criminals like pedophiles , mafia cosa nostra or simple psychopath murderers. If we were calm in receiving their criminals then that would be cause for worry so they should all shut the fuck up.
The silence of Nana on the matter of these gitmo ex cons is a confirmation that both he and Mahama have capitulated in the face of a greater force and i suspect the super power USA. I beg to differ from Dr Mustapha's views based on these reasons. First, is there deradicalization process as far as terrorism is concerned? And I believe Dr Mustapha would agree with me that Yes, there is. Apparently, there have been several instances where people have been deradicalized through various programs organized by experts and scholars of Islam. The two detainees clearly are said to be low risk category, meaning that it can be easy for them to be deradicalized if indeed they are really Jihadist as being claimed. Their transfers to Ghana here is part of the deradicalization process. However, in reading the analysis made by Dr Mustapha, he appeared to generalize his claims. Indeed, Chief Imam is coming from the angle of the two detainees being able to change irrespective of their past links with any so called terror group. Yes, he made point that Jihadist don't have compassion for whoever grants them compassion. I wish to differ a bit because a deradicalized or former Jihadist would have compassion for those who grant them same.
