I think we should rather use indelible marker to mark the box of choice by making any kind of mark in it. those who can read and write can either make a tick or put an 'X' in it. as for the unfortunate illiterates, they should just make any mark of the pen in the box of their choice.
I hope the use of indelible Marker will curb the issue of double thumb printing of the ballot.
