His children know this that's why they have never raised any question, query or mounted any challenge against the many uses their father's name is put to. They've never asked anyone to get a copy right permission before using their father's books , speeches etc.

Dr. Nkrumah is not the founder of your modern day CPP. His name is not on the list you presented to register your present day CPP with the EC.
He was a leader of the CPP when he was alive. He did nit take the part with him when he passed away. Dead men don't rule , or lead a party or government.
Everyone has the right to use Dr. Nkrumah's words for any reason and purpose provided they give the credit to him.
Mr. Jantuah please act like an educated person avoid this playing to the gallery tactics , it brings you to low in the eyes of fellow learned , educated friends. Dr. Nkrumah is not a bonafide property of anybody. He is above partisan politics.
Your charge that the NDC a should concentrate on Rawlings is neither here nor there. The fact that Mr. Rawlings founded the NDC does not mean the party belong to him. He does not OWN the members. A politics party is about people and not a name. A name is only for identity purposes.
This explains why the present NDC has left him. His views and thoughts are no longer relevant to the new NDC. In Britain , Mr. Tony Blair had to reinvent the Labour Party before he could win the elections which brought the party into power after been in opposition for decades.
The present NDC had to wean itself from the old NDC thoughts , which Mr. Rawlings represent. This reinvention began under Prof. Mills. It was that which won him the election.
And this formed the basis of the disagreements Mr. Rawlings had with him.
These things can only be discerned by political thinkers ( political scientists and strategists)
The same applies to the NPP. They reinvented themselves , shed off some of the old stuff which made the party unattractive to the midern electorate. In their case the reinvention process included the changing of the name. They were UP, PP, PFP and now NPP.
The reason the modern day CPP will remain unattractive , lack the vim and zeal and will die eventually after this election ; is because it chose to live in the past.
It is common knowledge to all that those who dwell on the past fails to appreciate the present. Look at the various persons and personalities who make up the leadership of the CPP.
Ghana has moved on since Dr. Nkrumah died. Whether in the right or wrong direction , fact is the country has moved on.
So my dear Mr. Jantuah look for something else which can reinvent your party and stop this cry. Dr. Nkrumah belongs to ALL, evennthe oppositin has the right to quote or use his speech.
Reinvent yourself. The NDC reinvented itself and shed off the old Rawlingsnite philosophy of tit for tat, iron fisted rule. This subtle reinvention began long ago. Am sure this is unknown to him
