President John Mahama, last week cut sod for the construction of a flyover across the Accra-Tema motorway. The flyover is one of many to be constructed to minimise the traffic on major roads in the capital.
The President has officially opened the Burma Camp-Airport Hills overpass to traffic.
The Kasoah Interchange in under construvtion. It’s okay.
Govt has also contracted loan to construct Pokuase intersection in Accra.
But what about Kumasi and Takoradi junction bottlenecks.?? Are they not parts ogf Ghana?
NDC/Mahama are doing unbalanced developments.
Several junctions in Kumasi need attention. NDC/Mahama has never discussed development of any interchange in Kumasi since 2008 let alone to construct them.
So why is President Mahama not interested in developing interchanges in Kumasi bottleneck junctions and the other cities like Takoradi?
Sofo line interchange cannot be the only required interchange in Kumasi. Moreover it was an inherited project from Kufuor since 2006. Does not Kumasi deserve additional interchanges too?
NAPO has complained that Mahama has turned his back on Asante development. I agree with him.
NAPO mentioned the Sofoline Interchange and the Affordable Housing project at Asokore Mampong, as some of the projects that the NPP left behind, which had virtually become a white elephant under the NDC.
MAHAMA is clearly discriminating against Kumasi the second city of Ghana.
Because NDC believes only foolish things come from Asante as proclaimed by Solomon Nkansah, the NDC organizer.
And with impunity Mahama still goes to Asante to look for 1 million foolish votes and 13 foolish parliamentary seats.
Because Ghanaians forget thing easily as he thinks.
Somebody must tell Mahama that he will never win elections with this discriminatory attitude
