1.i No president should be allowed to toy with this sole prelogative to make such appointments as the EC chair. How can the person who is to oversee elections in the country be answerable only to the appointing president, as Charlotte has shown?
1.ii The same goes for the appointmnt of upreme Court Judges.
2. All provisions in our constitution that do not seem right for the country should be tackled by the end of the first year of this parliament.

Ghana's President John Mahama has conceded to opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo, the governing NDC party has told the BBC.
