Several of these vehicles were then given to various government officials to use for official business. Once their terms of office has expired, they should, as a matter of honor and self respect, return the vehicles to the government. Failure to do so constitute "fraudulent conversion", and the government must use ANY means necessary to recover those vehicles. The same is true for government housing. .It is regrettable that government officials in Ghana have to be forced to do what they ought to do. They have no shame. These are people who like to be respected, but they have no respect for themselves. The NDC undertook these same seizure activities when they came to power in 2009. I would rather everybody act with some class, but since several people have the desire to steal then by all means, let us recover national assets.

I dislike the equalization. It happened in 2009 and it was wrong then, so if it is happening in 2017 I will condemn it. Until we allow the system to work there won't be an end to these things.
I hope in the future if NPP finds itself out of power would make sure nobody comes chasing them for government properties both movable and immovable.
NDC should not play the victim here because if they have accounted for all government properties very well and had not left doubts these things could have been avoided.
Someone tell NDC members that it is a crime to change the vehicle identification number (vin) of any vehicle.
