The first thing to do is to unite the people of Western Region but not to focus on dividing them.If I were the Chief of Essikadu who is now acting indirectly as Chief of Sekondi;I would have told Dr Afriyie to identify the priorities in the region.
Many of the youth in Sekondi/Takoradi are taking risk to Libya to try and reach Europe.Unemployment is our biggest problem,roads in the new settlements,water etc but not this stupid idea to split the region.Thank you.

Let's find out from history if what NPP is saying is true.
So many régions have been divided in Ghana already but they have not seen any rapid socio-economic development.Let the regional minister give us an example of development that the new régions enjoy today.As a regional minister,he should be able to lay down his plans and budget of how he wants to develop the region.A whole Regional Minister couldn't tell the Essikadu Chief,Nana Nkestia V what he intends to do for Sekondi/Takoradi.I'm very disappointed in the Regional Minister,this shouldn't be his priority at all.Thank you.
