The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah has said former President John Mahama’s defeat in future elections will even be more embarrassing than that of 2016 if he dares contest the upcoming 2016 elections.

According to him, the era of ‘Johns’ in Ghana’s political history is over, therefore the former NDC leader should save himself from being misled by party people into any future elections.

The Man of God, speaking on an Accra-based NEAT FM insisted that President Mahama’s closest family should edge him, not to waste his resources in contesting any elections since a humiliating defeat awaits him.

“Mark it anywhere, President Mahama can never be President again in Ghana, he can’t be President on this earth again. If he visits any true man of God he will tell him exactly what I have said. So he shouldn’t waste his money in 2020 election, thinking he'll win," he cautioned.

The controversial clergy also disclosed that God has revealed to him to advise the ex-Ghanaian leader, but if only he will listen to him, he will save huge resources and money for the upkeep of his family.

He says though his National Democratic Congress ((NDC), members will mount huge pressure on him to stand in the presidential race for 2020, he will only go home with shocks and heartbreaks if he needs to calls from his party people.

The Accra-based Reverend Minister, became relevant in Ghana’s political system in a run up to the 2016 election, after he revealed series of so-called prophecies pronouncing Nana Akufo-Addo a winner even before the elections.

Rev. Bempeh also predicted an abysmal and demeaning defeat for the NDC’s leader, John Dramani Mahama even before his overwhelming endorsement at the party’s delegate congress.

Though his prophecies were not taken seriously by many, Nana Addo’s victory appeared to have come as predicted. Whiles John Mahama’s defeat did not escape him and his party members as said by the religious leader.
