Controversial Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC has revealed that his resolve to root out corrupt practices in the implemented free Senior High School (SHS) policy is borne out of personal interest and not that of his party.
“I am not doing it for the NPP. If it is for the NPP I would not have done it at all. I told you I have stopped working for the NPP. I won’t do it if that was the case”, he disclosed on Okay Fm.
According to him, he does not see why he should be fighting for spectators who have assumed positions of regional ministers and are using their positions to engage in alleged underhand dealings and nothing is being done about it.
“I am for the policy, I won’t work for NPP, If it is for NPP I wont even do it. I won’t be working for spectators because spectators cannot be Regional Ministers”, he stressed.
The controversial NPP leader who recently blew the cover of senior matron at Ghana Senior High School in the Eastern regional capital Koforidua for allegedly stealing foodstuffs meant for the students and selling them outside, has promised to do same to other institutions in the country
Madam Comfort Oduro Bruce was reportedly caught red-handed by the chief security man of the school, Kofi Kanjagan, when she and the driver (one Alfred) was transporting the foodstuffs with the Regional Ghana Education Service vehicle with registration number, GN 6717-15, over the weekend.
Abronye DC has petitioned the police Criminal and Investigations Department (CID) on the incident

PETITION BY KWAME BAFFOE AKA ABRONYE DC AGAINST MADAMCOMFORT ODURO BRUCE ,MATRON GHANA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ,KOFORIDUA [ GHANASS]
I ,Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye Dc do hereby petition your outfit against Madam Comfort Oduro Bruce, Matron Ghanass ,Koforidua on the following grounds.
That on the 16th day of November 2017 ,I had a tiff off,that Madam comfort Oduro Bruce ,matron at the Ghana senior high school ,koforidua has stolen some food stuffs meant for the students of the school.
That the said food stuffs that were stolen by madam Comfort Oduro Bruce were parked or loaded into vehiecle number GN 6717-17 which said vehcile belongs to the Regional Education office,Koforidua .
That the driver of the vehicle in reference was mr Alfred.
That ,Mr Appiah a Pantry of the shool assisted the Matron to load the stolen goods into the car.
That at the security entrance,Kofi Kanjagh a security officer intercepted the vehicle and questioned where the matron is taking the food stuffs to but the explanation did not go down with the secuirty officer ,who then decided to called another security officer to witness same but whiles on his way to call that security officer ,the matron odered the driver to speed off from the campus.
That upon my investigations at the school both including phone recordings etc between Mr Appiah- the Pantry at the school and the matron ,it was established that the matron has indeed, illegally taken or loaded food stuffs for meant the students from the school to an unknown destination.
That,a committee set up by the authorities of the school to look into the matter, has also established that, comfort Oduro Bruce has indeed stolen goods ie food stuffs from the school. The attached and marked as exhibit KB’’1’’ is a copy of the committee report.
That the Regional Education director has decided to play deaf ear on the matter.
That phone recordings in respect of the subject matter shall be tendered in evidence in due course.
In the circumstances, I pray that the matron and the school authorities must be invited for questioning.
