The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will see many of its top Members of Parliament lose their seats in the 2020 elections, an Islamic Cleric, Mallam Sham-una–Ustaz Jibril has predicted.

According to him, the party will suffer worse casualties in parliament in the next general than what was experienced by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2016 elections.

Explaining his prediction, Mallam Jibril who is also known as a Numerologist claimed it was revealed to him in his dream about a month ago.

“It was almost a month that I dreamt and saw Honorable Joe Ghartey (Member of Parliament) Essikado Takoradi, who said to me that it was revealed to him that their top core party executives will not go back to parliament, then he asked me if he was among the people? Suddenly, I was quiet I couldn't utter a word as to whether he is among or not. Then I wake up from the dream”, Peacefmonline.com reported him as saying.

He added that, “Traditionally, if I dream of anything and wake up I have to calculate the thing spiritually to see the magnitude of it reflections physically. In the course of calculating the dream I find out that it is not only NPP executives that will be affected".

His dream, he further stated, also suggested that parties like the Republicans in America, Conservatives in the United Kingdom, ANC in South Africa and the APC in Nigeria will also suffer similar fates in the next elections in their respective countries.

“Besides, to further exhibit my spiritual calculations Republicans, APC, and NPP will lose their core executives members in their internal primaries. While conservative and ANC will have their share in the main parliamentary elections with their opponents”, Mallam Jibril said.

“Better still, among the five stated ruling parties those who will suffer most are the Republicans, APC and the NPP”, he hinted.

Mallam Jibril, however, failed to predict the outcome of the presidential election.

That notwithstanding, his prediction should cause some headache for the NPP, especially the part of it being worse than that of the NDC which lost close to 50 seats in the 2016 elections.
