Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolgatanaga Central, Isaac Adongo has launched a scathing attack at the Akufo-Addo’s administration saying it has woefully failed to deliver on its litany of promises made to Ghanaians and is now resorting to propaganda to save its face.
He told students of the Navrongo Campus of the University for Development Studies (UDS) at the weekend that, Ghanaians have been shortchanged by the current government after failing to deliver on the numerous campaign promises it made prior to the 2016 polls and is now gaining notoriety in launching only logos.
In his view, the wanton launch of projects by the government is not indicative of the fact the government has fulfilled its promises stating that was not the case under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration where projects were launched and implemented.
“This government is only good at launching of logos of projects under the guise of implementation. They finish launching the project and go to sleep thinking is it a promise fulfilled yet are accusing the government that launched and commissioned projects as incompetent”, he told the UDS Navrongo branch of the Tertiary Educational Institutions Network (TEIN).
The ranking member of finance wondered when launching of projects could constitute delivery urging the citizenry to be wary of tricky NPP and its attempts to deceive.
He accused the current government and its appointees of only being good at big English and propaganda believing that is what will make them trust them for which reason they were voted for
“NDC is made of intellectuals because we used fewer and clever persons to deliver than the NPP which has 6 Ministers managing what 2 were doing. They have nothing to show for since they took over power except propaganda and big English. That is why I keep saying the NPP is only endowed with propaganda”, he stressed.
