One of the defeated National Nasara Coordinator hopeful for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Abdul Rashid Adam has pledged to support the newly elected National Nasara Coordinator, Mr. Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah to succeed.
Mr. Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah secured an emphatic victory beaten 13 other contenders for the position of the NPP National Nasara Coordinator in the just ended NPP National Delegates’ Conference held at Koforidua in the Eastern Region on Saturday.
In his congratulatory message, Alhaji Abdul Rashid Adam urged Mr. Futah to work hard to uplift the image of the Zongo communities in the country, reiterated that, he will bring his knowledge and ideas on board to support the NPP National Nasara Coordinator to bring the needed development to the people of Zongo.
According to the General Manager of Apsonic Motor Limited, “I would continue to offer my greatest service to the Zongo constituents. I have put up a good fight with the greatest of ideas to transform and bring innovated development to our Zongos but the delegates of our party has spoken.
However, I will not hesitate to collaborate and support my brother, the newly elected National Nasara Coordinator, Mr. Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah to succeed. Our ultimate goal is to serve our people with the best of leadership and I have no doubt with the leadership capabilities of my brother Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah to serve”.
Alhaji Rashid urged other contestants for the Nasara position not be despair about their loss but revitalizes the spirit of togetherness to galvanize more support for the NPP in the Zongo communities.
“To my fellow defeated contestants, we did not loss, we all won because the NPP still remains Victor after the fiercely contest. Fellow NPP members I wish to congratulate my brother, Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah for winning the National Coordinators of our great party the NPP. Indeed, it was a free and fair family contest where the majority of the party's delegates choose him to lead the Nasara wing of the party in the next four years.
As I congratulate my brother, I would urged him to work hard to uplift the image of the Zongo communities in the country.
I would also work together with him (Mr. Abdul Aziz Futah) to bring the needed development to the Zongos. I would continue to offer my greatest service to the Zongo constituents.
