Though he could have been a major factor for the sack of his former boss, Mr David Asante Apeatu, Veteran Journalist Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Junior has hailed Superintendent Peter Lanchene Tuubo for exhibiting professionalism.

“First of all that gentleman in terms of professional code of conduct did the right thing because he resigned before dabbling into partisan politics”, he disclosed on Accra-based Peace Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com on Wednesday.

According to him, many may have been wondering if he was not a mole after it emerged he was out to contest on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), he described that as speculative though persons drawing such conclusions are entitled to it.

“The question people are asking is that his party affiliation which is now manifesting makes him a mole. That is speculation but people are making that point which they are entitled to. Whether it evidential or not it is logical”, Mr. Baako said.

He, however, insisted that those trying to make that analogy about Superintendent Peter Lanchene Tuubo must make available evidence to prove he was truly a stumbling block, a spy and many others.

“If you want to make judgement from it you need to provide evidence to show he was indeed a stumbling block, he was a mole, he was a spy and was doing all sort of things”, he challenged.

It would be recalled that the former Executive Secretary of the sacked IGP, David Asante Apeatu caused a scare when earlier this month he announced his decision to be parliamentary candidate on ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Wa West Constituency of the Upper West Region.
