The journalists apart from Kojo Yankson of Joy fm are comparing eight years of NDC and NPP's three years, five months. NDC paid ¢3 billion interest a year for eight years on Kufuor's debt of ¢9 billion
making it ¢33 billion yet NDC's debt rose to ¢120 billion. NPP is paying ¢30 billion a year interest on NDC's ¢120 billion which is ¢90 billion in the NPP's three years. So Ghanaians please deduct ¢120 billion
NDC debt and the ¢90 billion interest being paid by NPP from the total debt of the country so far, you will know the amount NPP has borrowed these three and a half years.
