Executive director of Lotus Women’s Foundation wins academic awards

Ms. Elizabeth Victoria Amanor, the Executive Director of not-for-profit organization, Lotus Women’s Foundation graduated with first class honors at the 16th Congregation of the African University College of Communications – an affiliate of the University of Ghana, Legon.

At the graduation ceremony in Accra, Elizabeth Victoria Amanor received two prestigious awards namely: “Best Student Award in Development Communication” and the coveted “Class of 2019 Overall Best Student Award”.

Delivering her valedictory speech, she entreated fellow Graduands to uphold “excellence and integrity” in all their endeavors “even when no one is watching.”

The keynote address was delivered by the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of general education for the Republic of Ghana, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.Degrees were conferred by the Representative of the University of Ghana, Professor Audrey Gadzekpo.

In all, 452 students were graduated from the Class of 2019 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Studies and Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration.
