National President of the Abudu youth, Alhaji Mugisu Sibawey in an exclusive posited that the Haruna Iddrisu led group demonstrated their neglect of the peace, unity and reconciliation deal.

According to him, the MPs failed to send their solidarity messages to the Abudu Family during the period.

He said the days of Dagbon politics were almost over and advised Dagombas to shun politicians who might continue to use the Dagbon chieftaincy matters for political expediency.

Alhaji Mugisu commended the Yendi MP, Alhaji Mohammed Habib Tijani, the Savelugu MP, Samed Gunu, the MP for Nantong, Alhaji Hardi Tuferu, the Tolon MP, Alhaji Suhuyini Wahab Wumbei and the Gushiegu MP, Dr. Ziblim Iddi for their participation and support.

The late Yaa-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV final funeral service was climaxed with a special Qur'anic recitation on Friday December 28, 2018.

Muslim Clerics from all walks of life converged at the reconstructed Old Gbewaa Palace in Yendi for the ceremony.

They extolled Almighty Allah for a successful performance of the funeral service of the late Dagbon Overlord who died in 1988.

They also prayed for Dagombas total unity and genuine reconciliation after the funeral of the late Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II scheduled for December 4 to 18, 2019.

The Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Sae-ed and other dignitaries were there.

Plans are afoot to perform the funeral service of the late Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II as the Andani family members led by the Yoo-Naa Bukari Mahama have promised to subscribe to the dictates of the final roadmap.
