Dr Amin Anta cuts sod for construction of 50 boreholes in Karaga

The 2020 New Patriotic Party Parliamentary candidate for the Karaga constituency in the Northern Region, Dr Mohammed Adam Amin Anta has cut sod for the drilling of 50 mechanized boreholes in communities in the Karaga constituency.

This forms part of the projects ear marked by Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam to ease the problem of perennial water shortage in these communities.

Speaking to the beneficial communities Dr. Amin Anta, noted that, his effort is part of the ongoing government's effort at solving the myriads of challenges of social amenities in rural areas of Ghana, including Karaga.

He added that Karaga is fortunate to enjoy the ongoing electrification, portable water, education fund, community health planning services, national health insurance registration which is underway as well as opening up of the linking roads in the constituency.

Dr Amin Anta who is also the Deputy Energy Minister called on chiefs, opinion leaders, party functionaries, members of the opposing party to give him the opportunity to represent the constituency in the next parliament in 2021.

The 2020 NPP parliamentary candidate for Karaga encouraged the people of the area to vote massively to retain President Akufo-Addo led NPP government in power in other to continue enjoying the various initiatives policies of the government including the free senior school, planting for food, school feeding amongst other.

The sod cutting ceremony brought together chiefs, opinion leaders, the elderly and the youth from the beneficial communities.

Leaders of the beneficial communities thanked the 2020 NPP parliamentary candidate for the good gesture reiterating that, they have never seen such rapid development in their lives.

“We are witnessing another great development in our lives as people, we are very happy for this and the many development we currently seeing in our communities. We are grateful to you, Dr Amin Anta and the NPP,” a community leader on behalf of the beneficial communities said.

"A lot of communities in the Karaga Constituency are currently enjoying electricity because of your good gesture, for the first time our people are watching television and some are using electricity for the businesses. Our children can now study well in the night because there is now electricity in their homes.... thanks to you, Dr Amin Anat,” He added

Dr. Mohammed Adam Amin Anta was accompanied by some big wigs of the NPP including the Deputy Minister of Information, Hon Pius Enam Hadzide.
