The Electoral Commission is meeting all Presidential candidates in this year’s polls for deliberations and to get them sign a peace accord before the polls set in next week.
The close door meeting is under the auspices of the National peace Council and attended by the diplomatic corps in Ghana.
It is being held at the Moevenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
Aside President John Mahama who is being represented by the Vice President, all the other candidates are at the meeting.
The candidates will sign the peace accord as a sign of their commitment to accept the results of the polls and to control their supporters after results are declared.
Meanwhile, special voting is underway in designated polling centers across the country.
Reports of missing names and delays have plagued the process.
