Founder and leader of Glorious Word Power International Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has said any future attempt by former President John Mahama to contest election 2020 will not augur well for him.

According to him, Mr Mahama has no political future and has urged him to call it quits.

Founder and leader of the True Fire Prophetic Ministry (TFPWM),Prophet Nigel Gaisie few months ago made a bold prophesy declaring that ex President Mahama will win the 2020 elections massively if he should contest.

“God told me that if the NDC selects any other person [as presidential candidate] than the former president, they will lose. So they should not try. But if they bring Mahama, the revelation said, they will win”, Prophet Gaisie stated in a video making rounds on social media.

The prophet, mentioned the deaths of elderly statesman, K.B. Asante and top journalist, Alhaji Bature, as some of his predictions that have to come to pass.

But speaking to Paul Adom Otchere on Good Evening Ghana show Tuesday, Rev Owusu Bempah described the election prophesies as lies urging the former President not to be mislead by such direction.

“I don’t hate ex President Mahama, I like him as a person but it saddens me that people around him are not telling him the truth. He can try his luck by contesting for the Presidency but it will be a waste of time. If I meet him personally, I will tell him why he’ll never be a President in Ghana again. He should take a rest and see himself as an ex President and join former Presidents Rawlings and Kufuor in the company of ex Presidents, so he can live long and enjoy life. He should give himself any pressure but trying to contest again because if he does, he’ll suffer heartbreak.

“Ex President Mahama should not allow himself to be pushed by these young prophets otherwise he’ll have a huge problem. That’s my little advise to him, if he takes it, it will be in his own interest.”
