Accra, Sept. 26, GNA – The Lords Heritage Incorporated, a non-denominational organization, has organised a clean-up exercise at the Tuesday Market, Korle-Gonno in Accra.

It formed part of activities marking the 10th anniversary celebration of the organisation established to promote clean and healthy environment for business activities at the market.

Pastor Ransford Collins Appiah-Sekyi, President of LHI, said the exercise was undertaken because the market serves as the main source of foodstuffs for the residents of Korle-Gonno, Mamprobi and surrounding communities for domestic and commercial consumption.

He said the exercise brought together stakeholders to work in happiness to make the market a clean and healthy place for business activities and empower the youth to volunteer in the development of the community and the nation.

Pastor Appiah-Sekyi said some activities lined up for the year-long celebration on the theme “A Call to Higher Service”, include a medical outreach, bible quiz, prayer conference and the main conference on July 22 next year.

The organisation was established in 2002 to promote the Gospel through music, evangelism and promote salvation, and righteousness.
