NADMO Co-ordinator asked to resign if he wanted to do politics

Tepa (Ash), May 12, GNA- Mr Benjamin Bio-Agyemang, the Ahafo-Ano North District Co-ordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has been asked to resign to pave the way for him to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the Ahafo-Ano North constituency.

A letter dated April 30, 2004 and signed by Mr K. Osei Amponsah, the Ashanti Regional Co-ordinator of NADMO and addressed to Mr Bio-Agyemang said the staff of the organisation are not to do partisan party politics and are also not to undermine sitting Members of Parliament (MPs).

At the time of filing the story, Mr Bio-Agyemang was not available for his comments since the office was closed. Copies of the letter had been sent to the National NADMO Co-ordinator in Accra, the Ashanti Regional Minister and the District Chief Executive. 12 May 04
