NDC supporters 'fight' over rice and stew
There was a near stampede at an event organized by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Kasoa in the Central Region when supporters of the party ‘fought’ over take away packs of rice and stew served at the event.
The event was the launch of the Lordina Mahama Fun Club by the deputy Central Regional Minister, Queenstar Pokua Sawyer.
The event, according to Adom News’ Kofi Adjei started late and thus to compensate the supporters who had sat and waited for her arrival, take away packs of rice and stew were served them.
Instead of waiting on their seats to be served, the supporters rushed to the servers to forcibly take the food.
This nearly resulted in a stampede at the event.
