No Ghanaian must engage in electoral violence in connection with the 7 December polls because it is totally unnecessary, General Overseer of the Royal House Chapel International, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah has advised.

Ghana heads to the polls to elect a president and parliamentarians to manage the affairs of the country for the next four years.

Ahead of the elections, Rev Ankrah who was delivering a sermon on Sunday, December 4 said “election is not a do-or-die affair”.

He further stated that “there is no reason to go and fight” adding that “losing an election is not the end of the world”.

“Failure means you tried but maybe something went wrong so you try and try again. Don’t be afraid of being called a loser”, he admonished politicians.

Rev Ankrah used the opportunity to “wish all politicians well” as they make their last preparations before Election Day and prayed for God to appoint the right leaders to govern the nation.

“May the Lord choose and give us the right people to be president and MPs,” he added.
