Mpohor MP aspirant for the NPP, John Sanie has extended assistance to the Mpohor district police command to combat COVID-19 in the area.

The items included two infrared temperature guns, three Veronica Buckets, Handwashing bowls, forty-eight bottles of 200ml hand sanitizers, and three gallons of Liquid Soap.

Nana Fatoho, a representative of Osabarima Kwaw Entsie II, Omanhene of Mpohor Traditional Area, accompanied the Mp aspirant and his team to make the donation.

Superintendent William Gyamfi, who received the items on behalf of the Police Service, expressed appreciation to John Sanie for the support, adding that "it will boost the command's work and prevention strategies so as to curb the spread of Covid-19 amongst police officers, cell inmates and visitors to the operational their areas".

Supt. Gyamfi said the items will be despatched to three police stations in Mpohor, BOPP-Adum Banso Estates, and Manso.

John Sanie, MP aspirant for Mpohor, commended the Mpohor district police for its perfect interface with communities, saying the donation was to support their good works.

The Mp aspirant said the NPP as a political party cares about people and development, and that "this donation fulfils the party's niche for helping people, more especially in this time of need and Covid-19 challenges".
