Bible approves of Pastors taking consultation fees – Prophet Kumchacha

Founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Kumchacha has defended the act of taking monies for consultation by the various pastors before they agree to meet members and people who come to their church with problems.

According to him, the bible stipulates that everyone eats from what he does and that is exactly what Pastors do with monies they make from the church.

Prophet Kumchacha indicated that monies taken by pastors at their various Churches are the same resources they as Pastors use for their personal upkeep in order to be able to convince the world of the need to give their life to Christ who is the author and finisher of life.

“If you meet me as a prophet and I am looking wretched, you will not like me. So I need to use the money I make from the church to help develop the church, use some to preach the word of God in the media and then also use some for my upkeep so that I can testify of the goodness of God.”

He added that Pastoral duties is his career since he does not work at Cocobod so Ghanaians who complain about Pastors taking consultation fees and other monies do not have any justification to complain.

He, however, added indicated that he does not take consultation fees from his members but certainly, he takes monies from offertory and other activities organised in the church.
