New board for the Blood of Jesus Reformed Church sworn in

CLASSIC news Techiman B/A ; Reverend Isaac Kofi Agyei was on Sunday inducted into office as the new national chairman for the Blood of Jesus Reformed Church in Ghana.

Rev. Agyei, a 55 year old ex-soldier who was ordained 10 years ago replaced Apostle Justice Daniel Yeboah, the founder of the church who died on February 24th 2004.

Four other officers were also inducted into office. They were Stephen Baah, vice chairman, Stepheh Obeng, Administrator, Elder James Menkah Secretary and Christiana Yeboah, Member.

The head pastor of the Italy branch of Apostolic Revival Church Apostle J A A Afrifa who inducted them into office, called on pastors to guard against false teaching and desist from diluting the word of God to suit members of their congregations.

Apostle Afrifa said the Church must maintain its uniqueness as an institution of education that transforms the minds and lives of the human being into truth and righteousness

He called on executives of the various braches to brace up for a crusade to "transform the minds and lives of members".

Rev. Sammy Gyimadu, the head pastor of Sunyani branch of the church who preached the sermon, appealed to Christians to continue with prayers to help sustain the prevailing peace and tranquility in the country.

He asked congregations in the church to provide the needed support and encouragement to the newly ordained ministers in their course of duty. He appealed to Ghanaians to stop flooding people in authority with criticisms without giving any positive suggestions that would help them improve upon their work.

On his part the new chairman thanked the church and called for the support to enable him discharge his duties well. Classic fm Techiman B/A
