Talented female musician, AK Songstress has expressed her dissatisfaction about President Akufo Addo’s decision to open churches and other religious denominations.
After President Akufo Addo announced the changes about the restrictions on public gatherings and other social activities, AK Songstress took to her Twitter page to register her displeasure.
According to AK Songstress, she can’t fathom why some businesses which contributed to the growth of the economy cannot operate while churches and other religious activities are now given the mandate to operate.
AK Songstress posted: “Opening churches while still closing businesses, which contributes to the growth of the economy can’t think far. African problem.”
In his latest address to the Nation on 31st May 2020, President Akufo-Addo announced that up to 100 worshipers can congregate in churches, mosques and other places of worship from June 5, as part of easing COVID-19 restrictions.
