C.K Akunnor and Asante Kotoko have agreed to resolve their differences without going to trial, according to local media reports.
The two parties at the status committee sitting on Thursday asked for a postponement of the case for two weeks which will be used in settling the issue.
The 44 year old manager is demanding his severance package from the club after he was shockingly relieved of his first-team duties last month and was replaced by Norwegian tactician, Kjetil Zachariassen.
“Its true both parties have asked for a 2 week adjournment and it’s because we want to settle the issue ourselves without any arbitrary.”
“CK is not a litigant and still has Asante Kotoko at heart.” A source close to the former Kotoko gaffer told Oyerepa 100.7FM
Akonnor guided the Porcupine Warriors to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup just two months after his appointment and won the NC Special Competition Tier Two to qualify for this season’s CAF Champions League.
