DOL chairman call on new clubs to fight on

Accra, July 24, GNA-The Division One League Board has called on the two newly promoted clubs in the premier league to continue with their excellent performance as displayed last weekend in the tenth week Kinaphrama Premier League.

Mr. Douglass Djarbeng Chairman of the board noted that their performance is an indication that the two clubs are gradually warming themselves up into the game and with time they would be up and doing. "The victory of Heart of Lions and Stay cool Professionals over Kotoko and Berekum Arsenals respectively showed the power and the competitive nature of the division one league," the Chairman stated. He said their performance also showed the calibre of teams in the division one league and urged them to fight on in the premier league to prove their worth.

Mr. Djarbeng said the board is solidly behind them in their endeavours to make a case for the division one league.
