Head coach of Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu says the club’s title ambition remains unchanged following the suspension of the Ghana Premier League due to Coronavirus outbreak.
Asante Kotoko are currently 3rd on the league table with three points separating them and the first place team Aduana Stars.
Speaking to Footballmadeinghana.com on his club title ambition, Maxwell Konadu is insisted they are rather chasing the clubs ahead of them and it will take hardwork for them to leapfrog those clubs.
“We are to find ourselves on top of the league table since the start of the league hence there’s nothing like we being chased .
“It only depend on us to do everything possible to over take the rest of the teams if we want to win the league.
“We know what we can do so we only have to shut up and work hard so as to over take the teams leading the table.”
The Ghana Football leagues are currently suspended after the GFA enforced a directive by the government to ban all forms of public and social gatherings due to the CoronaVirus outbreak.
Ghana has so far recorded 195 cases of COVID-19.
