Asante Kotoko SC intensified their preparations for the upcoming CAF Confederation cup playoffs with an emphatic 4-0 thrashing of Bekwai Youth Football Academy.
The Ghanaian side demolished the lower-tier opposition with a blistering display of artistic football capped with a 10/10 performance from their Burkinabe import, Songne Yacouba.
An opening goal from the media engulfed forward was followed by two other meticulously taken goals from their returning star.
A holistic improvement from the Asante Kotoko team saw them pin their guests into defensive shell all 90 minutes long with varied transition from 4-4-2 to a more advanced 4-3-3.
Goal shy centre forward, George Abege sealed the comprehensive win for the Porcupine Warriors with the fourth goal in a game that promises much ahead of the clash with San Pedro in the CAF Confederation Cup.
