AZ Alkmaar coach Arne Slot has shot down reports linking their star striker Myron Boadu away from the club.
Boadu has been linked with a move to almost all the elite clubs in Europe including Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal and AC Milan after his breakthrough season with the Red and White outfit.
The 19-year-old managed to rack up 14 goals in 23 Eredivisie games before the season was ended prematurely due to the Coronavirus crisis.
It is reported that AZ Alkmaar are willing to part ways with the young centre-forward for a transfer fee of €20 million.
However, coach Arne Slot has refuted the claims saying it is not the right time to talk about transfers due to the ongoing global pandemic.
"There is nothing sensible to say now about the developments in the transfer market. Everyday everything can be different at this time. In the world and therefore also in football."
Boadu also netted 6 goals in the Europa League including the qualifying round and provided 5 assists.
