Bechem United striker Ahmed Toure has set sight on the top scorer accolade as he has promised to score more goals for Bechem United in the latter stages of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.

The former Asante Kotoko marksman has eight goals to his credit having made 14 appearances this season.

According to highly prolific striker, he hopes to surpass the 10th goal mark and continue to do his best for his club even though some people doubt his scoring abilities.

Toure hit a brace for the Bechem based side in their 3-1 win over Accra Great Olympics in a Premier League outstanding game at the Accra Stadium on Thursday.

“I will score more than ten goals, I currently have eight goals and I will keep scoring not necessarily targeting a particular mark,” Toure told Ashh FM.

“Many people doubted my scoring abilities when I switched to Bechem United but I am having great time with them. My job is to score and once am on the field I will do that even though have missed about six matches so far this season.”

Toure is expected to be back in action when his side face Accra Hearts of Oak in a match-day 21 fixture on Sunday.
