German-born Ghanaian international, Kevin-Prince Boateng has picked Lionel Messi ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in the world.
The debate as to which player is the greatest of all time never gets old. Often times, it is the Portuguese international and the Argentine who goes head to head.
While everybody has their own view, the debate has never quite been settled with the two greats proving time and again that there possibly could be little or no difference between them when you look at the things they have achieved.
In an interview with Sky Sports, KP Boateng was made to pick between the two players. After singling out Ronaldo and leaving Messi standing head to head with Zlatan Ibrahimovi?, the Besiktas star choose Lionel Messi as the best in the world.
“The strongest? This is tough after they attack me from all sides. They are both phenomena and each has its own style: for 10 years Messi has shown that he is the best in the world, I am happy to have played with both of them”, the former Black Stars forward said.
