Accra Hearts of Oak will open their 2019/2020 season with a clash against Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday December 29.

The Phobians are coming into this game following their 2-1 defeat at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to rivals Asante Kotoko in the 2019 GHALCA Presidential cup.

Fast forward a lot has changed since then; head coach of the club Kim Grant's future has come under a lot of scrutiny with Emmanuel Odoom set to lead the team against Chelsea on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak have made a lot of signings coming into the season and the fans will get the opportunity to watch them play for the first time this season.

The likes of Benjamin Eshun, Charles McCarthy, Emmanuel Mintah, Bernard Arthur and Richard Arthur will be looking forward to make their competitive debut for the Phobians on Sunday.
