A collaboration between World Vision and water tank manufacturer Polytank provides an estimated 45,000-liter water boost to communities in the Oti, Volta, and Ahafo areas, including Nchumuru, Kadyebi, Asunafo, Goaso, Aveyime, etc. In order to guarantee that the water supplied is safe and pure, water storage tanks will be installed in these communities' schools and medical facilities during the course of the two-year agreement.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between World Vision Ghana and Polytank Ghana Limited. The partnership's objectives are to increase recipient communities' access to clean water, improve sanitation, and support sustainable development.

World Vision Ghana's Interim National Director, Jean-Claude Mukadi, spoke at the ceremony and emphasised the regrettable circumstance that many people in the nation today struggle to obtain clean water.

Through this relationship, he promised, "we will make sure that the 26 storage tanks that Polytank provided are strategically distributed to communities, schools, and health centres in critical need of clean water solutions." "This is only the start.

The aims outlined in SDG 6 will be further advanced by our combined efforts in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects, which will improve public health outcomes, advance environmental sustainability, and enable community people to take control of their own development," he promised.

The relationship is timely, according to Girender Mohinani, Business Head of Polytank Ghana Limited, particularly at a time when stakeholders are concerned about high turbidity levels and the presence of metals in certain water sources.

He reiterated the company's goal of helping households and expressed happiness about the cooperation.
