Gospel musician Great Ampong says Ghanaians won't re-elect John Mahama due to his past record of power outages and economic hardships.

Great Ampong, a Ghanaian gospel musician, believes that Ghanaians won't re-elect former President John Mahama, unlike Americans who voted for Donald Trump's return to power. Ampong's reasoning is that Trump didn't bring economic hardships like "dumsor" (power outages) to the US, whereas Mahama's tenure was marked by such challenges .

According to Samuel Sarkodee, a former Chairman of the NPP-USA Columbus Ohio Chapter, Trump's re-election was largely due to his track record of revamping the US economy. Sarkodee emphasized that the circumstances surrounding Trump's re-election and Mahama's potential return are vastly different .

Sarkodee also highlighted the achievements of the current NPP government, including its successful management of the economy despite global challenges. He predicted that Ghanaians would elect Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to continue the good work of President Akufo-Addo and further develop his own initiatives .
