Piesie Esther, a well-known gospel singer, recently talked about how she deals with trolls on social media and said she would rather ignore them because many of them are paid to target popular individuals.

Esther stated on November 19, 2024, on Accra-based 3FM Drive that she chooses to remain focused on her work and mission rather than responding to such hate since it isn't worth her time.

Esther remarked, "I've come to the realization that some of these people who leave comments on social media are paid to undermine you." "When you are just doing your work and promoting it, some comments make you wonder why the person is writing this," she continued. Esther is steadfast in her resolve to ignore these insults and focus on her work in spite of how painful they are.

Esther also spoke on the continuing controversy around the accusation that female gospel singers put fashion before ministry. She defended the value of wearing nice clothes, saying that appearance helps people relate to the message. "Gospel performers, particularly women, have nothing wrong with wearing nicely. It gives you more focus and attracts some individuals to you," she remarked. Esther's latest single, "At33ne," which she released in October 2024, is a celebration of God's faithfulness in her life, according to her.
