Emmanuel Andrews Sammini known on stage as Samini has been elected with a majority of valid votes cast, the SRC President of GIMPA.
The 40-year-old Dancehall artiste beat off his contender Theophilus Quartey.
Samini will be supported by Mabel Mensah.
