La Liga President Javier Tebas provided false information in the Negreira Case to harm Barcelona.
This false information was one of the main triggers for the case and the aggressiveness of the Prosecutor's Office in it's complaint against Barça. It also had a major impact in spreading it to rest of the media and television.
