The management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) is glad to announce the opening of its past questions portal dubbed 'PortaPrep'. The portal is aimed at improving students' performance in the annual Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE).
In the wake of mass failure recorded in last year's GTLE, although the management of the Council lowered the 2021 May teacher licensure examination pass mark, most candidates, could not pass the mark thus, the NTC was tasked to create the web portal.
This follows a recommendation by the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum who instructed the National Teaching Council to create an online portal to host a thousands of likely exams questions for potential candidates to have the opportunity to practice before the exams.
Another important thing is that the past questions uploaded online will enable graduate teachers hoping to write the teacher licensure examination this year and beyond to practice sufficiently before sitting for the examination.
How to Access 'PortaPrep'
1. Log on to https://www.gtleghana.com/
2. Click on the three bars in the top right corner of the page.
3. Click on Free Test.
4. Select the subject you prefer.
5. Read the instructions and click on Start Test.
