The 2022 Common Core Programme curriculum for Junior High Schools in Ghana begins today, Wednesday, 12th January 2022.
The Ghana Education Service GES has cautioned various district and municipal directors of education to ensure that teachers receive a tax-free allowance for the Common Core Programme (CCP) Curriculum training.
A meeting held between the management of GES Headquarters and the various educational stakeholders on January 5, 2022, revealed that the CCP training at the district level will be for 3-days (January 12 to 14) for the JHS teachers.
According to GES, all participating teachers will be provided with water, breakfast, lunch, and TNT. Each participant is expected to be given an amount of GHS20.00 for TNT and GHS10.00 for breakfast each day.
The GES has cautioned that the TNT and breakfast money should be given to Teachers in cash. Also, the GES has urged all regional directors of education to ensure that a good meal is gotten out of the amount for lunch so that teachers do not complain.
