The Ghana Education Service headed by Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwah is set to meet all Junior High School Staff from 12th to 14th of January 2022 in order to organize a workshop for them.
The workshop is to be organized by the various district directors of the country.
"Following the decision to ensure full implementation of the Common Core Programme (CCP) in the Impending Academic year, there is the need for Cluster Based Training for all Junior High School (UHS) Teachers.
In view of this, the Ghana Education Service (GES) is inviting all JHS teachers to the above mentioned Workshop. Regional Directors of Education are kindly requested to communicate this information to all Metro/Municipal/District Directors to invite all JHS teachers to fully participate in this all important training programme. This includes all newly posted JHS teachers.
Each Metro/Municipal/District Director is to make arrangement for a suitable venue for the training programme. This schedule for the training programme is as follow: To be determined by the Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education Wednesday, 12th to Friday, 14th January, 2022.
Please, Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education should ensure the observance of all covid-19 protocols and extend all the needed courtesies to the facilitators and participants for the success of the programme.
NOTE: The Visually Impaired Teachers must go along with their Brail sheets and or recorders to be able to participate fully in the workshop.
The Hearing Impaired Junior High School (JHS) Teachers must be supported by their hearing counterparts from their schools to enable them participate fully in the training.
In view of this, the Ghana Education Service (GES) is inviting all JHS teachers to the above mentioned Workshop.
All Junior High School teachers are to take note and participate in it.
